Campers will stay on site in the barrack style housing and all meals will be provided during the camp.
Rehearsals will be held in the Historic Schoolhouse building on campus and the final camp performance will be in the 900 seat McCurdy Pavilion.
Fort Worden is a national historic landmark encompassing 434 acres with more than one hundred historic structures, including the coastal defense batteries and the Point Wilson Lighthouse. Additionally, the Fort has over 11 miles of hiking and biking trails, 120 feet of dock space, tennis courts, campgrounds, and two miles of salt water shoreline.
In addition to music, we are a well rounded camp that provides unforgettable experiences for our students. There will be opportunities for daily activities including:
- Free time at local beach
- Trail walks
- Organized group games and activities
- Visiting Point Wilson Lighthouse
- Exploring the old military bunkers
Travel: Fort Worden is about 2 hours from Seattle, 3 hours from Vancouver, BC, 3.5 hours from Portland
If transportation help is needed, we can help set up carpools. ALSO, if we have a large number of campers from a particular area (ex. Seattle), we will look into providing bus or van transportation for an extra fee. Please contact us directly for more information about transportation options.
